Finally, this Thursday #Luimelia has been renewed for a fourth season. It has been confirmed that in this season there will be more episodes and that they will last longer. This series, whose first and second season has been already released and the third one comes out in January, is available in Atresplayer Premium. It isn't known when this season will be released but, probably, this will happen somewhere between June and December 2021. 

 

The first three seasons have approximately 6 episodes and last 10 minutes but thanks to the fandom that most of the Sundays when an episode was released made the hashtag "#Luimelia" trending topic on Twitter, Atresmedia has decided to give more money to the production and filming of the next season, so as a consequence the fourth season's episodes will last 30 minutes. 

 

This love story between two women, Luisita and Amelia,  that arose in “Amar es para siempre”, a series located in the 60s, was originally created to show the reality of this women in that time but had such a great impact on the audience that Atresmedia decided to give them their own spin-off where their relationship is located and developed in the XXI century.
